School Year
The Dance Program for the 2007-2008 school year consists of 32 lesson weeks. The session begins Monday, September 17th. Our dance recital will be held on June 1st and 2nd at Dominican High School. All students will be invited to participate but are not required.
Open House
For your convenience, leotards, tights, dance shoes, and accessories can be purchased from our dance boutique Monday August 27th, 28th & 29th - we will be open from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. At this time we will be accepting registration for the fall. Shoes can be ordered at this time for pick-up on the first day of class.
Missed Lessons
Please notify the school if you are unable to attend your lesson. Arrangements can be made to make up the lost lesson in a class of similar level. Refunds are not issued for missed classes.
Visitor's Day
We have set up various times within the year to invite visitors of the students to come observe a class session(s). Visitor's Day is a special occasion for guests. Parents are not allowed to observe the lessons other than these days because of the disruption it can cause in the class. (See ADA Calendar for these dates)
Facitlity
Our facility is located in the delightful business corridor of Bradley Road in Brown Deer. It has recently been chosen as a revitalization corridor and many new developments have begun. The facility is over 5,000 s.f. that houses four spacious studios, along with a dance boutique, and waiting rooms with a children's play and tv to pass the time.
Dress Code
ADA feels it is necessary for student to wear proper dance attire in order to maintain its professionalism as well as to properly train and correct the dancer. A black leotard and pink tights are required for our kinder dance, elementary, level 1, 2, and 3. Levels 4 and above may wear any color leotard and pink tights. Skirts or black shorts may be worn for Ballet. Black shorts or black jazz pants may be worn for tap and jazz. T-Shirts, shorts or stretch type clothing and tennis shoes may be worn for hip hop and dance team classes. Black leotard, black shorts, capris, and black Irish shoes are worn for Irish dance. Student will be required to wear the appropriate footwear for each class. We offer new and used footwear through our boutique.
Payment Schedule
A fifteen dollar non-refundable fee is required at the time of registration which is used for administration costs. There after, for continuance in the dance program, tuition is due on the first day of each month. Tuition is non-refundable. A late fee of ten dollars will be issued after a 10 day period, after the day in which tuition is due.
As a convenience, you can set up an account through the office to utilize a credit card payment, either Mastercard or Visa. We will charge tuition to your card on the day that it is due. You may wish to take advantage of our yearly payment incentive by paying the whole year in advance and you will receive a 5% discount on tuition. In order to take this advantage, payment must be made prior to the beginning of classes.
A costume deposit of fifty dollars per costume is due in December or prior to. NOTE: the fifty dollars is just a deposit, additional or credited money will be determined once the final costume design and cost have been determined. COSTUME DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
